Garden Variety

So as we are nearing the 100F mark, I am really feeling the heat of the summer. Hard to believe I grew up in a tropical country because I hate the heat.

But it is a pretty day to be spent indoors. I decided to bust out some pretty lightweight-clothing. The ruffle skirt is from torrid, the green v-neck top is also from torrid, the whit cardi is also from Torrid. Sandals are from The Avenue and the purse is from Victoria Secret.

Where am I headed ? To Barnes and Noble, to read up on Jordan and Africa.

This country has been my home for years now. I am so glad to be a part of Her celebration.


My sister and I have an insane idea today. She read somewhere that Lake Tahoe has great fireworks and so to break away from our traditional fireworks veiwing in the next town over, we are thinking of driving 150 miles north of here..yes, to Lake Tahoe.
