Something brightened up my day today...

There has been a little dark cloud hanging over me today and I can't seem to shake it off. It was a combination of stress from work and non-work and he-whom-I've-been-seeing. :D


I was walking out towards the lobby when I saw him step out of his desk and our eyes met and he smiled and I smiled. He has such a nice smile, I can see it from 20 feet away. I can't seem to peel my eyes away or the silly smile on my face. He waved and I waved...and then he walked away to the other side.


In my mind I was screaming " Oh my gosh" over and over. I felt like I was 13 again, encountering a high school crush. And that is what it was. I have a silly crush on this guy at work. His department and so he is fairly new to the company.

...that 5-second moment was enough to brighten up my day. It's a smile that is just pure kindness , and he gains nothing by smiling at me.

...oh my gosh, I feel so silly but I still have a big smile on my face just remembering it.


He-whom-I've-been-seeing just called...and I am happy to know that too :)
