Residential Investigation Oakley Part 2

I've been doing paranormal investigating for just a little over a year. I am fairly new to it and I am fortunate enough to be asked to be a part of CDP.

I think for the first time, I've finally come to realize how rewarding it is to do it. Not because of the experience of what goes-bump-in-the-night, the voices in the EVP sessions or the strange lights we see in our videos. It's about knowing that you are taking part in helping a family , who until last night, I did not realize how much the claims of activity in their house has affected them. I didn't know until last night that the family has moved out of their home. No one should be driven out of their home, the home is a haven where love grows you know.

So when I listened to the recording (EVP) of D, she also captured a "gremlin" growl lol. I was surprised but more amused. From the sounds of it, it also sounded like a short creature. We captured this growl in the children's bedroom.

When we went to the garage, I immediately took notice of the open ceiling that leads to the crawl space. I told D that it looks to be a good hiding place.

So in my evps from last week in the same house, I also caught a child's voice and a man's voice. When I was sharing this information to the owner of the house, a young mother of two, I told her that twice during the evps we asked what is their favorite toy the answer on both was " Baby". She told us that interestingly, her daughter's baby doll has been msissing and could not find it. I also want to mention that during the investigation only the uncle and his friend was with us in the house. The rest of the family stayed in relative's house.

We have obtained additional information that the house has an "elemental" (explains the gremlin growl), 2 kids and an old man. (which verifies the voice on the evp) The elemental seems to hang out in the crawl space. The old man seems to confine himself in the upstairs bedroom and the kids loves to play with the live children of the house. Which also supports the experiences of the family who lives in the house especially the children - they hear children's voices, the kids would see a man hanging out at the stairs and a "scary monster" flicking their ears and biting their knees.

It's good that at least there is an explanation of what they are going through. It was recommended that we pray for the old guy and the two children to move on to the light and they were once human. The elemental is not neccessarily evil but the other investigators know of a way to remove it. It's just there but it is believed that it's the one who taunts the kids. I see it as a bully and I find myself reprimanding it like a child exhibiting bad behaviour. I'm careful not to piss it off lest it retaliates against the family but as I was "talking" to it in the garage, I first felt a little fear , it's just natural for me because I could not see it plus we were in pitch darkness. But the fear turned into a realization that this thing was a bully and only picks on little children which really bothered me. It made me want to help this family in my own little way. At the same time I felt it, I heard this voice in my head saying " Don't be scared. Don't be afraid." And I became bolder and stepped out of the corner I was standing in and apprached the ladder that leads up the crawl space and said to it that it has no power over me and this family especially the little children who lives in the house and God's love will protect us and the family, afterwhich, the other investigator and I said a prayer or two.

Sometime this week, W will meet with the family again to see if as a family they can all use their strength for their love for one another and a higher power to make a stand and let these beings know that this is their house, their rules. It's not over yet.

D used an ancient Native American ritual of saging to keep the elemental at bay and scattered sea salt all over the house especially the garage. The family is working on getting a priest to bless the house again- talk about a double whammy.
