The firs time I was at this place, it was so dark, I couldn't the hills around the property. This time however, there was enough civil twilight for me to see 5 or 6 beautiful brown and white horses perched on top of a hill and for a second, I felt like I was in the Old West. :D
We pulled up at what is now a semi-familiar unpaved road. I stepped out and the smell of hay, fresh earth and horses fill the cool winter air. The ground was a little soggy but there was an almost electric thrill in the air.
We're back in The Horse Ranch, to do a paranormal investigation.
A beautiful chestnut-colored horse is standing over a small hill , solitary yet it finishes off the landscape like a bow would on a gift box. Yeah, I know I'm working on it, it's not exactly the best...analogy...:D
We saw the owner's son, his girlfriend and a another younger man step out of the house. I noticed that one of them had a rifle slung over their arm.
"Cayote-hunting." , they explained and bade us goodbye as they continued up the hill behind the house , leaving the place to ourselves. I watched their sillhouette disappear behind the curvature of the hill. When you live out in the country , you get your usual wild life hooligans I guess.
One of the highlights for me in the investigation was when I heard a child's voice in my right ear whining...there was no child in that house and the closest neighbor is about almost 2 miles away...
I have yet to go through my evidence. I caught a few evps there the last time.
