Or Jelly
When my friend told me she made Pepper Jelly I wasn't sure what to make of it. You put in w/ cream cheese and spread it over toast, she said. I went home with a jar of Pepper Jelly and another jar of Spiced Peach.
Skeptical about how Pepper Jelly will appeal to my tastebuds, I tried it anyway - over toast, mixed it in with cream cheese and spread it out evenly. I took a reluctant bite and then I can almost see a golden light, my face must've took on a beatific expression and can almost hear an angelic choir singing "Ahhhhh" *epiphany music* - it was deliciously creamy. I love that added kick the pepper jelly gave and it complemented the creamy salty-sweetness of the cream cheese. It's not too sweet and oddly , not spicy either.
You all should try it.
