I can't resist the Mraz song reference (Curbside Prophet).
My friends and I did a yard sale this past Saturday. While it was an unusually cold (50-60 degrees F) , windy and overcast on a Mid-August day, it didn't stop customers from dropping by and checking out our stuff.
I'm glad I did it because it gave me some extra money that I can use for gas or other stuff :D
It was tempting to buy from my friend's stuff and I have to stop myself. In exchange for margaritas, I got a red and whit striped boatneck tee and a vintage 60s polaroid set complete with the leather bag and bulbs.
I have plans on collecting old cameras and then setting them as embellishment pieces on a book case, in replace of your usual figurines - yes I have a vision, it's only a question on when can I get that into fruition.
It's always good to make a curbside profit from a yard sale.
