Muy bueno :D BUGAMBILIAS

I've acquired a taste for Mexican Food and a little El Salvadorean. Here in our town smacked between Sacramento and San Francisco is an unsuspecting restaurant tucked at a corner called Bugambilias. It's my second time eating there and their fried tortilla chips are so crunchy , with the right amount of grease and salt. Then , you dip it into their juicy and mildly spicy salsa made with fresh tomatoes, peppers and onions.

I ordered the tostada, flauta and papusa. All in a combination of pork and chicken. I love that they put fresh vegetables on it. Their tamale is wrapped in banana leaf instead of the usual corn husk. The pupusa meat is well marinated and smokey. It has been days and I can't remember what flavors were in it but anyway. I'm not a food critic. I just enjoy good food :D. This is a great place to satisfy your burrito, tostada , flauta , tamale etc etc cravings :) THeir flautas are piled with fresh veggies on top and then drenched in sour cream - yummy!

Bugambilias serves Mexican and El Salvadorean Cuisine. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. I certainly enjoyed watching the Spanish Variety shows on tv although I can't understand alot of what their saying :D I should order the two item instead of the three item because I couldn't finish it all - the starch is too heavy on the stomach.
