Plus size women in the media - it's a start

So there's Drop Dead Diva - a skinny model woke up one day in a body of size 16 woman who's an attorney. It's a start, it's great and I am rooting for the success of the show.


Then there's...More To Love from Fox, it's a reality show in the style of The Bachelor. I haven't seen episode of it, but then again, I was never a fan of those type of episodes.

I have a friend told me about the More to Love episode that he saw and he said all these women have body issues and even quoted them saying "...you don't understand what it's like." and said to me " You seem ok."

I told him that it's true, unless you've walked in my wide width shoes, I don't think you'll understand but I try not to think about it. I really do.

But anyway, I hope that the public can be transitioned into seeing plus sizes on mainstream/ pop culture, so I'm looking forward to it. Go Plus size!!! :)
