My sister thinks being crafty is "uncool" - she's free to have an opinion.

I enjoy scrapbooking though and there's alot of techniques out there that are unexplored by me. I think it comes naturally with my love for taking photos. But this interest of mine battles with my short patience. I want instant gratification, but scrapbooking - you have to plan what color papers you use, what photos to use, what embellishments to use etc. I know, I can't talk about it without sounding like..I don't know..sounding like a stereotypical-crafty-female?

So anyway, after a few pages and a few albums, I got inspired by the mini albums by this amazing woman named Marion

I was so inspired and while I'm still a long way from learning the other techniques or does not have the same flair for creativity, it was enough to motivate me to make my own mini alubm.

I've accumulated so many s(crap)booking stuff, and I still have boxes of photos to work on. I know that what matters is the experience and as long as you have it in your heart and mind. But there is only so much our mortal mind can hold. Written histories would not have been possible if it weren't for documented material. So, I'm hoping that in my own way, I have catalogued a snapshop in time.
