I know it has come and gone but I still want to honor all the mothers out there who brings so much love and care in our world - may it be my mother, relatives, friends, co-workers, Blessed Mother ;D, etc etc. We honor you everyday and not just every first Sunday of the month of May.
Blooming and nodding in blood purple, soft pink, yellow, periwinkle , the Iris Farm we went to on Mothers Day was one of those places that I will not forget because of how it made me feel - happy. The great thing about it too was it was for free! I brought my Grandma (Dad's mom) there, my Dad drove. It's funny because my Grandma is not a country girl. She loves the hustle and bustle of city life. This Iris Farm off the hills wher we live is something she'll enjoy but only in very small doses. It was too short however, and I would've wanted to take more photos.
So for mothers with heart more beautiful than these Irises, for mothers with souls more vibrant than the Iris colors - our love for you will always remain, long after these Irises wither and nourish the grounds of Mother Earth.
