Civil vs Criminal

Civil - a third of the jury should be in agreement to reach a verdict.

Criminal - a jury should be unanimous to reach a verdict







I filed for hardship, which is true. This trial will take longer. I am not allowed to disclose it but it will take longer and my company only pays for 10 days of jury service. But I'm hoping to be disqualified because of certain events in my life that will be considered emotionally biased towards this case. The hardship petition was not granted to I was asked by the judge to fill out a jury questionaire.

I will find out in an hour or so if I need to report tomorrow.

I really hope not. If it weren't for economic hardship, I would like to be a party of it really.

..so I turned to my ultimate comfort food Adalberto's carnita's burito but my taste buds are still jacked up from my illness and all I can taste is salt. But otherwise, on any given day, I scarf this baby down.





Still this day is good, it's my favorite TV night - Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, So You Think You Can Dance and Glee is on.
