Sleep-catching..dream-catch me :D

I need my sleep - for at least 6 hours - otherwise, I feel gross and cranky all day.

Since Tuesday, I haven't had any enough sleep. Had dinner and spent time with A who was raving how he got a bigger office complete with a shower stall - what? They make those now?

Wednesday was M's birthday and am glad to be a part it.

Thursday, believe it of not, was spent with some friends and I was there with them learning how to make Lumpia - I know it's sad. I didn't know it was easy. A little time consuming but easy. There was a cup of water and starch to make the rice paper stick , I dipped my hand in it -only to realize it was the Miscela (a red wine blend of Merlot, Petite Syrah and Melbac - one of my favorites by a local winery called Wooden Vally) I have - which I somehow added to my ground beef.

Friday was spent wining and dining in this farming community town of Winters. A quiet town at the foothills of Vaca Mountains some 20 miles from here. Great people and great town. Everyone was in such good spirits (well except for one person in our company who I need to work on protecting myself from her negative enegy ugh. I've prayed for her and I hope she finds peace). We did a couple of wine tasting at their tasting rooms (Berryessa Gap and Turchovic). Had a great dinner at Fecille's (Tapa's bar) and went to 3 other bars for more dancing, karaoke and drinking.

Fecille's offers a variety of local wine and incredible Tapas. The Tapas experience is meant to be shared with friends. This place is family-owned and offers a variety of deliciously diverse dishes inpired by other places across the globe- from Japanese-inspired teriyaki skewers,Greek and souvalaki-like entrees, fruit and cheese tray , Mexican cuisine and seafood - just about everything. All of the ingredients are farm-grown, the meat are tender and tasty , the cheeses are amazing. You can also order a pitcher of Sangria for everyone.

...and now, it's Saturday and I just need to spend this time ..doing nothing. I don't mind.

I just realized - if I have a family with kids - there would be no "me" time - I don't think I can find "me" time. I wonder how these other women do it - they're incredible.

Yay for God's gift of the human experience :)
